Life QotW: I Quit!
In the UK they've passed a law saying that smokers will not be allowed to become foster parents, do you think this is fair?
Absolutely. I grew up in a household with two smoking parents. My Dad quit when I was about 6 because of a lung tumor, and Mom quit when I was about 16. Whenever I had a cold, it always turned into bronchitis or a whooping cough type of thing. I thought all colds and flu were that bad.
I just quit smoking myself 2 years ago and guess what? Colds and flu aren't that bad. Now I get a cold and it maybe lasts for a week and I hardly ever cough.
Smoking is horrible for children to be around.
