Special Announcement: As of 4/30/2008, all Suncatcher Eyes patterns Creative Commons licenses will change. Permission is now given to make as many dolls as you like and even sell them, just give credit to www.suncatchereyes.net. The pattern itself is still protected by the Creative Commons license and cannot be resold.
The pattern licenses were restricted in the beginning because I had always hoped to make more of my dolls. Unfortunately, I have a medical condition that prevents me from crocheting for too long at a time, thus not allowing me to produce more of the dolls from my patterns. I will now leave that up to my customers :)
Some of the patterns for sale at Suncatcher Eyes and on Etsy:
Don't forget to check out http://www.suncatchereyes.net for lots more free patterns and other patterns for sale (with the same new licensing!).
I sell and also give away crochet patterns. Most of them are for personal use only, meaning if you make the item, you cannot sell the pattern or the item you make from it. Would that turn you off from buying the pattern in the first place? I'm seriously considering changing the creative commons license of my patterns.
Opinions, please.
