The Suncatcher Eyes business is still growing! This month I have added lots of new colors, including neons and even glow-in-the-dark eyes! These new colors are gorgeous!
I will be rolling out new listings in my Etsy shop over the next week, and hopefully life will be kind enough to give me a few days to work on my website and list all the new eyes.
Here are some of the new colors:

These eyes are available in 12mm for $5 per pair in my Etsy shop.
I knew my Suncatcher Eyes wouldn't be the only hand-painted eyes on the market forever, but once it finally happened it was a punch in the stomach.
This seller is using photographs of hand-painted eyes that were staged just the way mine are on clear plastic canvas, descriptions that are very close to mine, and tags and materials that also closely resemble mine.
It's a terrible feeling to be copied, but I'm trying to look on the bright side: This will make me work even harder to get the word out about my products.
I found a new supplier who can offer me a much better deal on eyes than I was getting before. That savings is going to be passed on to my customers.
Over the next few weeks, you will begin to see the price of Suncatcher Eyes go down. It will take a few weeks to update my website (one-woman operation here). I have already lowered prices on Etsy. I am so happy to be able to do this!

I will be adding two pair of 12mm hand-painted Suncatcher Eyes in any of our colors, sleepy eyes, stripes, cat eyes, or pinwheel designs to each order, no matter how big or how small. For larger orders, I might just add more than 2 pair! ^.^

This is a bit frustrating. As many of you know, I sell hand-painted safety eyes for crafts and toys. Well, it has come to my attention that I have some copycats on Etsy. That in itself doesn't really bother me. What bothers me is that I know am pretty sure they are painting their eyes with nail polish, and unfortunately I also know that the eyes they are making will chemically melt over time (Blythe owners/customizers will know what I mean).
I've tried to convo the seller about it, but they just became defensive. I'm just concerned about the people who buy this person's painted eyes because they may compare them to mine.
Hopefully the seller who is doing this may read my blog and I can get through to them that way.
