For the rest of the month of June, every customer at Suncatcher Eyes will receive 2 free pair of of eyes! I will be adding two pair of 12mm hand-painted Suncatcher Eyes in any of our colors, sleepy eyes, stripes, cat eyes, or pinwheel designs to each order, no matter how big or how small. For larger orders, I might just add more than 2 pair! ^.^
If you would like specific colors for your 2 free pair, just email me after placing your order.
Special Announcement: As of 4/30/2008, all Suncatcher Eyes patterns Creative Commons licenses will change. Permission is now given to make as many dolls as you like and even sell them, just give credit to www.suncatchereyes.net. The pattern itself is still protected by the Creative Commons license and cannot be resold.
The pattern licenses were restricted in the beginning because I had always hoped to make more of my dolls. Unfortunately, I have a medical condition that prevents me from crocheting for too long at a time, thus not allowing me to produce more of the dolls from my patterns. I will now leave that up to my customers :)

Don't forget to check out http://www.suncatchereyes.net for lots more free patterns and other patterns for sale (with the same new licensing!).
Links to all of my free crochet toy and Blythe patterns are now in one convenient location. Where? On my new website of course! www.suncatchereyes.com
Suncatcher Eyes have a new home on the web. Come visit us at www.suncatchereyes.com to see our selection of handpainted acrylic safety eyes and crochet patterns.
Every few months I get this feeling that my creativity is gone and coming up with new crochet patterns becomes work and not fun. That's when I put it away for a while. If I make myself sit and crochet during times like this, I get nowhere. It can be rather frustrating. It's about time I find a project to keep me busy in between times.
What I really don't like about these times is that usually these are the times when I get some really cool ideas for crochet patterns, but there's nothing I can do about it. I can't act on any of them. But then a few days or a week from now, I'll feel like picking up the yarn and hook again, and it will just flow. Weird how that works.
So where does contemplating change come in? I'm thinking of maybe scaling back the crochet patterns part of my business and focusing more on the eyes. But then I have this thought every time my creativity runs dry.
Most likely I'll do what I always do, let it go and wait for something to click.
